"The cloud" refers to servers that are accessed over the Internet, and the software and databases that run on those servers.
Cloud infrastructure
The term cloud infrastructure refers to all of the components needed to enable cloud computing, the system by which data storage and computing power are available on demand without direct input from the user.
Cloud Engineer
Cloud engineers are responsible for assessing the existing infrastructure of a business, and researching solutions for moving different functions (like database storage) to a cloud-based system.
